Training materials
The following set of materials are intended to train individuals participating in a national household survey to measure progress in malaria prevention and control services. Initially created to facilitate the implementation of the Zambia National Malaria Indicator Survey 2010, these materials can be adapted to fit a variety of needs in different geographical areas. Included in the set are manuals for using personal digital assistants and global positioning systems for interviewers, guides and protocol for using various malaria and anaemia testing methods, training materials on optimal techniques for interviewing members of a survey household, strategies to resolve supervisor and administrative issues, treatment protocols, and more.
